More Optical Illusions.

Life is like that.

What do you see?

Optical illusions just pretty much sum it up as far as I'm concerned with this life.
Nothing is as is seems.

Things to Do in an Elevator

When there's only one other person in the elevator, tap him on the shoulder and then pretend it wasn't you.

Push the buttons and pretend they give you a shock. Smile, and go back for more.

Ask if you can push the button for other people, but push the wrong ones.

Call the Psychic Hotline from your cell phone and ask if they know what floor you're on.

Hold the doors open and say you're waiting for a friend. After a while, let the doors close, and say, "Hi Greg. How's your day been?"

Drop a pen and wait until someone goes to pick it up, then scream, "That's mine!"

Bring a camera and take pictures of everyone in the elevator.

Move your desk into the elevator and whenever anyone gets on, ask if he has an appointment.

Lay down the Twister mat and ask people if they would like to play.

Leave a box in the corner, and when someone gets on, ask him if he can hear ticking.

Pretend you are a flight attendant and review emergency procedures and exits with the passengers.

Ask, "Did you feel that?"

Stand really close to someone, sniffing him occasionally.

When the doors close, announce to the others, "It'sokay, don't panic, they open again!"

Swat at flies that don't exist.

Tell people that you can see their aura.

Grimace painfully while smacking your forehead and muttering, "Shut up, all of you, just shut up!"

Crack open your briefcase or purse, and while peering inside, ask, "Got enough air in there?"

Stand silently and motionless in the corner, facing the wall, without getting off.

Stare at another passenger for awhile, then announce in horror, "You're one of THEM!" and back away slowly.

Wear a puppet on your hand and use it to talk to the other passengers.

Listen to the elevator walls with your stethoscope.

Make explosion noises when anyone presses a button.

Stare, grinning at another passenger for a while, and then announce, "I have new socks on."

Draw a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers, "This is MY personal space!"

God?

If God is real, why is there so much death and violence and sadness and sorrow in this life?

Why do people and animals have to be so mean?

Why do people hurt? Why do people die? Why don't people love?

I think optical illusions are really cool. They kind of remind me of life. Nothing is very easy to understand. It all "fools the eye."

I love the Beatles

Even though I am a freshman in High school and all the popular music is this punk stuff, I like Rock and Roll, even oldies. I like the song below even though the name of it is kind of depressing. I'm kinda wierd like that.

I'm a Loser
John Lennon/Paul McCartney
I’m a loser, I’m a loser,
And I’m not what I appear to be.
Of all the love I have won or have lost,
There is one love I should never have crossed.
She was a girl in a million my friend,
I should have known she would win in the end.
I’m a loser, and I lost someone who’s near to me,
I’m a loser, and I’m not what I appear to be.
Although I laugh and I act like a clown,
Beneath this mask I am wearing a frown,
My tears are falling like rain from the sky,
Is it for her or myself that I cry.
I’m a loser, and I lost someone who’s near to me,
I’m a loser, and I’m not what I appear to be.
What I have done to deserve such a fate,
I realize I have left it too late.
And so it’s true pride comes before a fall,
I’m telling you so that you won’t lose all.
I’m a loser, and I lost someone who’s near to me,
I’m a loser, and I’m not what I appear to be.

Is life really worth all the pain and dissapointment?

The title of this post is the kind of question that used to frequent my mind before I knew the Lord as my saviour. I have started this blog mainly so I could use this profile to comment when I want to offer a different perspective - the perspective of one who doesn't know Christ. If you see "Rosie" pop up on a blog, be nice to her.

I may also post articles here of a thought provoking nature. (As opposed to my other, non thought-provoking blog).

Cheers!

Look at the pictures to see if you see movement;
then read what is below them....

What do you see? One teacher said, "I felt like they were all moving...but slowly. Kind of like they were breathing." The pictures attached are used to test the level of stress a person can handle. The slower the pictures move, the better your ability of handling stress. Alleged criminals that were tested see them spinning around madly; however, senior citizens and kids see them standing still.
None of these images are animated - they are perfectly still.
